I'm Jendrik,
a media and graphic designer from Berlin.

I am half German and half Croatian and was born in Berlin in 1991.
I studied media design at the Hochschule der populären Künste and had been living and working in Beijing, China for half a year. After working two and a half years as the in-house Art Director of the Berlin night club Griessmühle, I am Junior Designer at Saatchi & Saatchi.

Within my work I attach great importance to a deliberate and purposeful handling of shapes, colours and materials. It’s not about following present design trends, but communicating contents substantially and effectively. In doing so, different types of media are approached. Besides print and branding, my competence includes basic skills in terms of web and motion design, photography, film and illustration.

Ich bin Jendrik, ein Medien- und Grafikdesigner aus Berlin. Als halb Kroate und halb Deutscher kam ich 1991 in Berlin zur Welt. Ich studierte Mediengestaltung an der Hochschule der populären Künste und lebte und arbeitete ein halbes Jahr lang in Peking, China. Heute bin ich der hauseigene Grafikdesigner des Berliner Clubs Griessmühle und arbeite selbstständig.

Bei meiner Arbeit lege ich großen Wert auf den bewussten und gezielten Umgang mit Formen, Farben und Materialien. Es geht nicht darum, aktuellen gestalterischen Trends zu folgen, sondern inhaltlich gehaltvoll und nachhaltig zu kommunizieren. Dabei werden verschiedene Medien bespielt. Neben Print und Branding umfasst meine Kompetenz Grundkenntnisse und -fertigkeiten in Sachen Web- und Motion Design, Fotografie, Film und Illustration.
